Warm pre-cut PVC in a 200F oven for 20 minutes. It is then warm enough to “squish” into an oval. Be careful, though, that you use something long enough and not flexible to “squish” with so that the PVC does not bow on you, which makes it very difficult to get the soap out. I use my marble rolling pin on 12-inch PVC lengths.
